Lin and I have begun snowbirding to Frostproof, Florida, after converting our B&B into a vacation home rental. Spending time in warmer climes will be good for aches and pains in both of us.

It is more so here than in SD, Frostproof, that is! We arrived a week ago Tuesday and unloaded Tuesday and Wednesday. The house is beginning to look like our place, but we had our challenges (central air conditioner died, internet router would not work, etc.). Nothing is ever easy. The good news is that we arrived safe and w/o serious incident. We are now doing the finishing touches on moving in - deciding, shopping, and obtaining dining table and chairs, computer printer, and other items needed in both SD and FL locations but not necessarily movable in automobiles.

We are making new acquaintances that may become friends. Saturday evening was a dance at the club house and we attended, last night I played bridge at the club house, Lin has found the work out room ( I am trying not to find that facility) and she will look in on the sewing group here today.

Lin's sister, Barbara, and husband Allen have included us in Thanksgiving dinner plans with some of their friends here. We had dinner at a local restaurant that they like. And we were warmly welcomed back to the church in Lake Wales - about eight miles or so away.

So we are getting settled in. We hope that you all are as healthy as can be expected, and happy, too!
